Creating the future at Expo 2020 in Dubai
The 2020 World Expo in Dubai will be the first to be held in the Middle East. From 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, this international event will welcome more than 20 million visitors, making it one of the most important events organised by the United Arab Emirates in Dubai.
"Connecting Minds, Creating the Future" is the slogan of Expo 2020, which will be structured around three thematic areas representing the great challenges of our era: Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.
The Expo 2020 Dubai venue will occupy an area of over 4 square kilometres. Al Wasl Plaza, the central hub of the event and its most iconic structure, features a huge dome of around 150 metres in diameter and 65 metres high, on which 360° videos and images will be projected, creating the world's largest immersive experience. Without doubt, Expo Dubai will be the most anticipated event of 2021.
