With just 210 km of coastline, Ibiza is an icon when it comes to lush summer resorts, sus dream beaches, its renowned nightlife and varied range of hotels attract visitors from all corners of the world.

Scattered around the island you will discover the most important urban centres, coastal towns such as San Antonio, San Juan and Santa Eulalia del Rio have a very special Mediterranean charm. During the high season the popular street markets come to life and become the ideal setting to experience the hippy side of the island. The idyllic beaches and coves invite you to a natural paradise with a luxurious setting and contrast the intense blue of the sea with the typically white Ibicencan architecture. Some of the best known beaches are Cala Portinatx, Platja Comte, Platja d'en Bossa, Sa Caleta, Cala d'Hort, Cala Salada or Es Cavallet.

Along the coast there are exclusive beach clubs that tempt anyone with elegant umbrellas, Balinese beds, and exquisite cocktails. The grand hotels in Ibiza also offer all kinds of whimsy and extravagance, and are more than used to hosting the occasional famous face.

The capital of the island, also called Ibiza, awaits within its ancient walls a beautiful citadel steeped in history. Invaded by all the civilizations that have sailed the Mediterranean including Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs, Phoenicians and pirates. Dalt Vila is a tangle of narrow streets that wind their way through the pristine white houses to a sky blue background. At the foot of the wall, the city continues to be full of shops and restaurants with a bohemian air that extend all the way to the seafront promenade. The cafes and ice cream parlours located on the seafront enjoy views of the immense port and the refreshing shade provided by the palm trees along the promenade.

What to do in Ibiza?

Don't be fooled by the tranquillity of the day... Like the sun and the moon, Ibiza has two faces. The sunset marks the start of the nightlife with a host of wild and glamorous parties. The most acclaimed DJs of the moment perform every summer in the stunning nightclubs to offer the best electronic music shows, turning the Ibiza night into an international reference. Names like Magic Life, Pacha, Cotton Beach, Nassau, Bora Bora, Amnesia and Sirocco are the stars of the night and will make your holiday in Ibiza mythical.

Visit Formentera

Throughout the year there are ferries that offer the Ibiza-Formentera route, the journey takes approximately 40 minutes and the boats leave the port frequently. Being the smallest of the inhabited Pitiusas islands, Formentera is a coastal paradise without equal. Getting around the island is a pleasure in itself, bicycles and mopeds are very practical considering that the distances to be covered do not exceed 16km. The delicate paths along the coastline lead to bucolic landscapes of crystal clear waters and captivating lighthouses. Let yourself be seduced by wild white sandy beaches such as Ses Illetes, Cala Saona or Es Pujols, where the beach bars are an oasis and the mojitos are a must.
