Santa Catalina Classics
Santa Catalina Classics has its roots in the prestigious Formentor Sunset Classics, a classical music festival that began more than a decade ago at the Formentor Royal Hideaway Hotel in Mallorca. Over time, and thanks to the success of its first edition, the event began to grow and gain recognition in the music world. As it evolved, the festival moved to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where it adopted the name Santa Catalina Classics, preserving its essence and the same spirit of excellence that defined it from the beginning.
This event brings together musicians, conductors and classical music lovers, offering a series of world-class concerts in unique venues. Over the years, Santa Catalina Classics has established itself as one of the leading classical music festivals in Europe, celebrating the beauty and emotion of music in its purest form and offering unforgettable experiences for its audience.
The Santa Catalina Classics International Festival is a project led by the Barceló Hotel Group, with the aim of promoting classical music and culture in the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. This festival is one of the group’s flagship cultural initiatives, with all efforts focused on maintaining the excellence of this emblematic event, now firmly established as a leading name in the world of classical music.
