In addition, in 2024, Starfish was distinguished with 3 radishes in the We're Smart Guide, which values the creative use of seasonal ingredients, the percentage of fruit and vegetable dishes on the menu and various sustainability criteria.
Genuine Cuisine
The space
Located in another of the privileged open-air settings of Royal Hideaway Corales Suites, with direct views overlooking the island of La Gomera and the ocean. It has two very different atmospheres for lunch and dinner, where you can admire the contrast of the night skyline of Costa Adeje. In addition, its open-plan kitchen, fully integrated into the living room, allows you to enjoy the dynamics of the Starfish team.
The wine menu
The sommelier Diego Yanes heads the wine menu for which he has selected a range of unique and singular references. An extensive menu of highly regarded wines, mostly from the Canary Islands. Wines that incorporate the Atlantic and volcanic nuances characteristic of the region to constantly surprise our customers and that showcase local produce.

This hotel is 11/10. It is spotless 24/7. The villas with pools are just amazing with really big outside areas. The beds are massive & really comfy. Breakfast is an experience. Top quality, fresh cooked food. Wide range including Champagne, latte is the creamiest I’ve ever had. Restaurant food is superb. Service is faultless. All staff are so polite & helpful. They really can’t do enough for you. Housekeeping needs a special mention. Whole villa cleaned inside & out every day to high standard. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Highly recommend.

We can highly recommend and will return here ourselves. The suite was so spacious and clean, the view of the sea relaxing and there were ample restaurants both in the hotel and a short walk away. The staff was gracious and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Highway Corrales Suite. The building’s architecture is very well designed, and we especially appreciated the common areas such as the reception, the outdoor breakfast terrace, the pool, and the Starfish restaurant. However, we were disappointed with the room. We had booked a duplex suite, which we felt did not match the overall standard of the hotel. The bedrooms were extremely small and narrow, and opened onto a large terrace that we found unnecessary. It would have made much more sense to extend the bedroom space and reduce the terrace. While the general condition of the apartment wasn’t bad, we expected something more comfortable for a hotel of this level. The furnishings were quite dated and showed signs of wear. The pool also needs some renovation. There’s a real issue with the layout of the apartment: while the space is large, it is poorly organized, and doesn’t live up to the expectations of a 5-star hotel. That said, this was the only real disappointment of our stay. The hotel’s location is great — not far from the sea, with lovely walking areas and plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Within the hotel, we only tried the Starfish restaurant, which was lovely and has a beautiful view. The reception team and the staff were very pleasant. One small point for improvement: we were told that a specific staff member would help us with restaurant or tour bookings, but on several occasions, that person was off or unavailable, and no one followed up with us. It would have been helpful to be informed in advance and to know that someone else would be taking over. Overall, aside from the room and that small organizational issue, we had a very good stay

Our second holiday at Royal Hideaway Corales Suites in less than 12 months. Wonderful hotel with excellent views and restaurants. Hugely thankful to Justyna (food concierge) who always made us extremely welcome at breakfast and supported us with all our requests and reservations throughout our stay. View from our room was amazing overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and also our rear terrace we could watch the morning sunrise on Mount Teide. Hotel is really peaceful and relaxing which is what we were looking for despite having children aged 11 and 8. Having a room with a private pool was great for my children and kept them entertained for hours. We will look forward to coming back soon. We will miss having our lunch and evening meal at Starfish which is an excellent restaurant and serves fresh fish of the highest standards. Thank you to all the staff that supported us during our stay and especially to Justyna! Best wishes from the Gayle family.
