A true 5-star couples experience!
My partner and I were immediately impressed on arrival to Royal Hideaway Corales Beach. The hotel itself is magnificent and spotlessly clean. After a long, tiring journey and arriving quite late, we were met at our coach by a member of staff who promptly took our luggage and led us to reception. Here we were offered drinks (water, cava, bubbly), and very quickly checked in. We were also able to order room service, which would arrive once we had settled into our room. We were led to our room, our baggage brought inside for us and left to unpack as we awaited our food. The staff were fantastic, polite, incredibly accommodating and would not allow us to lift a finger. A true 5-star welcome.
Our room exceeded our expectations and was larger than it appears in the photos! Staying in the junior suite, we still had a lovely view of La Caleta and the sea, our own sun loungers, a table and chairs and towels for the loungers. The room has a lounge area with sofa, desk and coffee table. The bed was a king size and incredibly comfortable with a thick mattress and topper. There was more than enough wardrobe space for two people, a free to use combination safe, tea and coffee facilities, fridge and a steamer for ironing clothing (a very useful item!!). The bathroom was luxurious, with a large bath and a separate rainfall shower. All toiletries are provided including essentials such as toothbrushes and a razor, and all cleaning supplies were of Rituals brand! My partner and I couldn’t hold back our excitement at just how impressed we were.
Throughout our stay, we received incredible hospitality. A day or two in, we received a courtesy call to ensure we had settled in well. Our room was turned around daily, with an additional check around 6:30 to ask if we needed anything else freshening up (and to give us some lovely Lindt chocolates!). The level of attention staff give ensures the impeccable cleanliness of this hotel and its rooms. Fresh bedding and towels are easily requested.
The food at the hotel is phenomenal. Room service is very reasonably priced made with quality fresh ingredients. The breakfast is the best I have ever had on any holiday. You are welcomed and led to a table indoors/outdoors as you prefer. A menu is provided with options for egg dishes (benedict etc.), pancakes, porridges, smoked salmon etc. all included. The buffet section is vast, with hot breakfast options, freshly made omelettes, breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, cereals and everything in between. There are many coffees to choose from, freshly squeezed juice, bubbly and smoothies-of-the-day. You are quite simply spoiled for choice! As well as this, the hotel has many additional dining experiences to choose from. Cosy Italians, rooftop bars (with stunning views!) and Michelin-star restaurants to choose from. Booking is as simple as informing reception. Make sure to visit the rooftop bar, grab a sun lounger and enjoy the view with one of the hotel’s signature cocktails using locally sourced ingredients!
On the subject of towels, the hotel has a policy where reserving sun loungers is forbidden. To that end, we never struggled for space. There are always loungers with parasols, or even large comfortable beds to choose from. Towels are provided either on the beds themselves or at nearby stations, along with suncream if required. Simply grab a towel, choose a spot and start relaxing! This system contributes to a culture of pure relaxation for its guests.
In regard to location, the hotel is very close to a small beach. Simply walk through to the family side and down a small incline and you’re there (there is also a lovely ice cream kiosk in the hotel here too). Outside reception on the main road is also a bus stop. We used to local public transport to travel around Costa Adeje and to visit Siam Park during our stay (bus 467). The public transport App is very useful, and the cost surprised us...only Eu 1.45 each for anywhere on the route! Much cheaper than taxis and very efficient, with a bus every 10 mins or so.
To summarise, the Royal Hideaway Corales Beach certainly deserves its 5-star status. There is only peace and quiet to enjoy, incredible food, beautiful scenery, plenty to explore and treat yourself to. You are on the doorstep of the beach and La Caleta itself. Staff are work incredibly hard to ensure your stay is as perfect as possible. I would like to give special thanks to Jessica and Angelo who made breakfast service extra special for us during our stay, and to the room service staff who go to incredible lengths at busy times to provide amazing food and service.
We will certainly be visiting again!
JBiddulph23 18 Jun 2025Really great hotel and restaurants
The hotel is fantastic and the staff are friendly, welcoming and attentive. The main restaurant provides a great selection of food cooked freshly in front of you once you’ve chosen but there are 3 others with 1, 1 and 2 Michelin Stars so a total of 4 held in one hotel! The 2 Star el Rincon de Juan Carlos is fully deserving of its rating and beats other 3 star restaurants we’ve visited.
There’s a sun decking area with comfortable loungers and a pleasant pool for a cool down and a prompt poolside service.
The location is quiet and whilst there is not a huge attraction to the surrounding area we felt no need to leave the hotel other than for a walk.
For more exercise the well appointed gym is great and if you want to go further afield there’s a range of excursions available
