Atunante restaurant at Barceló Conil Playa – Adults Recommended invites you to enjoy a gastronomic journey around one of the most appreciated marine species, the bluefin tuna. Every year the Bluefin tuna (Thunnus thynnus) travels thousands of miles from the North Sea to the warm Mediterranean waters to reproduce. Just before entering the Strait of Gibraltar, they are caught in fishing nets by local fishermen. And from their nets, they go straight to Atunante Restaurant. With a menu showcasing tuna delicacies accompanied by local produce such as vegetables from Conil or Payoyo cheese, this à la carte restaurant also offers an excellent list of local wines and the main Spanish denominations of origin.

Atunante is a real temple dedicated to bluefin tuna. Among its dishes based on this marine delicacy, you can taste the typical grilled tuna sirloin or an assortment of the most valued parts of the tuna cooked on the grill: neck, belly, tarantello and sirloin. Diners can also opt for gastronomic proposals from the other side of the world, such as a tuna poke bowl or black loin tuna sashimi on citrus granita with a spicy touch. A menu that surprises and excites the palate in equal parts.
