Our awards
Its mention in the Repsol Guide is a testament to the team's continuous commitment to the produce, quality and, ultimately, culinary excellence. In addition, in 2024, Starfish was distinguished with 3 radishes in the We're Smart Guide, which values the creative use of seasonal ingredients, the percentage of fruit and vegetable dishes on the menu and various sustainability criteria. In 2025 it has been recognised by Turismo de Tenerife as the "Best practice linked to Sustainable Gastronomy projects" and has obtained 2 stars in the Food Made Good sustainability standard, awarded by the Sustainable Restaurant Association (SRA), recognitions that endorse the restaurant's good practices in terms of responsible sourcing, social impact and environmental management.
Genuine Cuisine
The space
Located in another of the privileged open-air settings of Royal Hideaway Corales Suites, with direct views overlooking the island of La Gomera and the ocean. It has two very different atmospheres for lunch and dinner, where you can admire the contrast of the night skyline of Costa Adeje. In addition, its open-plan kitchen, fully integrated into the living room, allows you to enjoy the dynamics of the Starfish team.
The wine menu
The sommelier Diego Yanes heads the wine menu for which he has selected a range of unique and singular references. An extensive menu of highly regarded wines, mostly from the Canary Islands. Wines that incorporate the Atlantic and volcanic nuances characteristic of the region to constantly surprise our customers and that showcase local produce.

Never ending LOVE
We always return to Tenerife, to Royal Hidaway and the people who make this place famous with their great work. A pleasant atmosphere, a beautiful view from the terraces, large and bright rooms, a beautiful swimming pool with heated water - all this is known and familiar. But what is the "specialty" of this hotel are the people working there, who are the best ambassadors of this hotel. Reception - the whole team together with the bell boys, Housekeeping - always the highest standard, Kids Club - my special thanks for the wonderful relationship With my Kids , Swimming Pool - good service . I dedicate a special place to the Olivia restaurant (breakfast) and La Trattoria. Justyna - a woman institution! When I go for breakfast I know that the smile will not leave my face! The whole team - Justyna, Angie, without your service and sense of humor, breakfast would be much worse. The remaining team of Yelicz Gaia, Jessy, Adra and the cooks - always the best service. This time we used the La Trattoria several times. Martin - you took over the management a few months ago and you do a fantastic job. Congratulations to the whole team ! Of course I can’t forget about Andrea - Costumer Service , always remembering loyal customers . AMAZING! The Royal Hideaway is fast becoming my favourite hotel. I took my mum for a birthday trip last week and this was my 4th or 5th stay at the hotel. In the run up to our stay, I was in touch with the amazing Andrea Tommasino who is by far the best Guest Experience manager EVER!!! I had requested a specific room and been a pretty demanding customer but Andrea went over and above to help create the most wonderful experience for my mum on her first visit. He is truly amazing and his customer service is incredible. Our 2 bed suite with private pool was exceptional. Extremely clean, quiet and the perfect room choice for us. We had food in the hotel restaurant every night which is lovely. There is a different theme every evening so you never get bored with the choices. The staff and waiters should also be highly commended for their 5 star customer service. Justyna from the breakfast team is awesome! her energy knows no limits and she will do whatever it takes to ensure each guest and their family has the best holiday. I love the Corales and cannot wait for my next trip in December!

We have been fortunate to be able to visit this truly amazing hotel many times. Each time is better than the last. Everyone goes the extra mile to make your stay memorable. The staff are amongst the best I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Nothing is too much trouble. The restaurants are incredible (3 with Michelin Stars). I would highly recommend a visit.

This hotel improves with time. It is amazing that each year we see many of the same personnel - which is a testament to this well-run and friendly hotel. The resort complex itself is well preserved, tranquil and has all the right facilities. Also, being close by the village of La Caleta, there is ample choice of restaurants for all tastes. There is plenty of on-street parking right by the hotel.
