The golf course was redesigned and remodeled by  renowned architect P.B. Dye who personally supervised the entire process. The course was opened in December 2010 for both hotel guests and the general public. 

The championship golf course crosses a lush mangrove forest, with 25 inland lakes and 122strategically placedsand traps. The course makes the most of the natural beauty of Bávaro. Native species and plants surround the greens.
