The non-motorized water sports available at Barceló Maya Beach include:
- Pool aerobics
- Water polo
- Snorkel equipment (use of equipment for 1 hour per day at no cost)
- Kayaks

- Basic windsurfing (standard boats)
- Basic Catamarans (Hobie Wave)
- Scuba diving (one weekly lesson in the pool. Basic 8-minute lesson at set times)
Note: Most activities require a reservation and are subject to availability and weather conditions. A minimum skill-level may be required.

Snorkeling and diving
To provide unique and quality experiences at Barceló we have partnered with the renowned Dressel Divers Club, located inside the complex, which provides scuba diving classes, diving trips, snorkeling, and other water sports such as jet skiing and deep-sea fishing (additional costs). The boats depart directly from the hotel's private dock.
