Golf
Whale and Dolphin Watching
The southwest coast of Tenerife is a privileged place for whale watching in the wild, as there are colonies of pilot whales and dolphins that live here all year round. We can find up to 21 different species in these waters, from the gigantic blue whale to the fearsome killer whale. There are two resident populations, pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins, which can be observed almost 80% of the days of the year, with a sighting percentage close to 100%. A must-have experience in the area and within walking distance of the hotel.
Masca Trekking
The Barranco de Masca offers a splendid and luminous landscape where an exclusive native flora of incomparable beauty grows. It is reached by boat, and once here, guests will be able to get up close and personal with typical Canarian delicacies such as fresh goat cheese, cactus juice, local wines, jams and homemade sauces. The descent takes between 3 and 4 hours until you reach the beach, where you can enjoy a well-deserved swim and relax sunbathing while the boat arrives that will take you back to Los Gigantes.
Scuba diving
Tenerife is a true paradise for a holiday "under the sea" thanks to its seabed of great natural wealth; a privileged climate, with temperatures between 19 and 25 degrees throughout the year; and an almost always calm sea. Sunken ships, caves and volcanic tubes are another incentive to enjoy this sport in Tenerife. In addition, the island has a complete network of centers available to experienced practitioners or beginners.
Hiking
The trails of Tenerife have a rich variety of environments, climates, environments and degrees of difficulty. Arriving by ferry in San Sebastián de La Gomera, along the southern route, you will ascend to the laurel forest of the Garajonay National Park, with virgin vegetation.
Excursion to the Teide National Park
A must-see in Tenerife, the Pico del Teide, at 3,718 metres, is the highest in Spain and the third highest in the world. Its complex has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and offers spectacular native flora and fauna. Mount Teide has recently obtained Starlight certification and this accredits it as an international privileged place for stargazing.
