Everything is ready to celebrate the 8th edition of the Barceló Gourmet Festival, which will take place at the Barceló Maya Grand Resort hotel from September 13 to 15. It is an event that, like every year, delights lovers of haute cuisine with unique culinary proposals that are a source of inspiration when it comes to promoting the gastronomic diversity of the Riviera Maya.
To evoke all these sensations, the Barceló Gourmet Festival will feature talented executive chefs from all the Barceló hotels in the Riviera Maya. Through their passion, these masters of culinary art will pour all their experience and cultural roots into the preparation of exceptional dishes that will captivate the senses of the diners attending the event.
These creations will be signed by renowned ambassadors such as Diego Ocampo, chef at the Barceló Maya Palace and an expert in ice sculptures as well as mukimono art; Salvio Beltrán, chef at the Occidental Xcaret Destination and a benchmark in handling traditional Mesoamerican kitchen utensils; Gustavo González, executive chef of the Barceló Maya Colonial y Tropical and two-time winner of the Bahías de Huatulco pre-Hispanic contest; Isaías Cárdenas, chef at the Royal Hideaway Playacar; Julio Reyes, executive chef of the Barceló Maya Riviera - Adults only; and Enrique Torres, chef at the Barceló Maya Beach and Caribe.
The event has limited space, so a prior reservation is required. You can request information by writing to maya.ventas-asist@barcelo.com, where you can also consult special rates to attend, either leaving with the All Inclusive experience and accessing the pairing dinners at a special cost or acquiring a Day pass.
