That is why we offer a double guarantee: at Barcelo.com (and through our Customer Service) you will always find the lowest price, and once you book, you will be sure that if you find a cheaper price on another website or at Barcelo.com (or Customer Service) we will always match it.
And a commitment is a commitment, for any reservation you make on Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service:
At Barcelo.com: If, after you have booked, you find a cheaper rate on Barcelo.com (or our Customer Service), at any time and up to 72 hours prior to check-in, we will match that rate.
On another website: If you find a cheaper online price on another website outside of Barcelo.com, within 24 hours of booking and up to 72 hours before check-in, we will also match the rate and reward you with an additional 10% off.
Our price match system
Our guarantee is more than just words, and in case our minimum rate is not sufficient, we want to have a refund system in place:
1. Matching a better price found outside of Barcelo.com or our Customer Service:
- Make your reservation at the best price online at Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
- If, within 24 hours after making your reservation, you find another offer for a lower rate for the same dates and product (type of room, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, cxl rate/policy and add-ons).
- Complete the form you will find at this link and send it to us.
- We will process your request and send you a reply within a maximum of 48 working hours.
- If your case meets the criteria, we will match the rate found and apply an additional 10% off.
- If your request does not meet the indicated criteria, we will contact you to provide you with the best terms associated with Barcelo.com.
2. Price matching to a better rate found on Barcelo.com after booking:
- Make your reservation at the best price online at Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
- Imagine that, at some point after your reservation, and up to 72 hours before check-in, you find on Barcelo.com a lower offer for the same dates and product (type of room, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, rate/cancellation policy and add-ons).
- Complete the attached form and send it to us.
- We will process your request and send you a reply within a maximum of 48 working hours.
- If your case meets the criteria, we will match the rate found.
- If your request does not meet the indicated requirements, we will contact you to provide you with the best terms associated with Barcelo.com.

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on another website
1. You must have a confirmed reservation made through Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
2. The conditions of the rate found on another website must completely match the conditions of the net rate booked on Barcelo.com:
- same hotel
- same room type
- same duration and dates of stay
- same terms and conditions of sale, terms and conditions of cancellation, prepayment terms and conditions, terms and conditions regarding changes in the booking, etc.
- same number of guests
- same currency
- same rate condition
In the event of cancellation and/or modification policies not matching, the more restrictive policy will be applied.
3. You must send the request within 24 hours after your purchase and no later than 72 hours prior to arrival at the hotel.
4. The form sent must include a screenshot of the cheaper rate found on another website. The screenshot must always be on the last step, prior to the confirmation, where it shows clearly and unequivocally displayed, the hotel name, stay dates, type of room, number of adults and children, system, currency, taxes, and rate cancellation policy. This screenshot must show the computer date and time or device on which it was taken.
5. The customer has a 24-hour time limit for sending the match request.
6. If the cheaper Internet rate is for a multi-night reservation, the guarantee covers the final price of the entire reservation, not the rates for each individual night.
7. The cheaper rate found will be net of taxes associated with the city/country in question or other taxes associated with the room rate.
8. The rate found shall be publicly available online and verifiable by Barcelo.com.
9. The total difference found on another site must be more than €5. Barceló Hotels Group reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time, and at its sole discretion should the difference in price exceed 25%, unless prohibited by law.
10. In the event that a rate match is made (whether or not the additional 10% off has been granted), it will be applied to the original rate. Discount codes or special discounts, which may have applied to the original booking, will not be applied to the new final price, including those listed in the my Barceló advantage program.
11. When a request for a price match is made on a weekend, i.e., starting on Friday at 4:00 p.m. (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time).
12. The process of rate matching found on another website cannot be used in conjunction with the matching of a cheaper rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours prior to arrival at the hotel.
13. The rates on Barcelo.com and through our Customer Service may vary depending on the country, and the new rate found must be within the same country/market as the original.
14. In case of currency exchange and bank commission that may be applied by your bank, charges and/or refunds made in a different currency than the currency of the debit/credit card account used, may result in differences between the amount charged and refunded. Barcelo Hotel Group is not responsible for any differences that may occur.
Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours prior to arrival

2. The conditions of the rate found on Barcelo.com must fully match the conditions of the net rate booked on Barcelo.com:
- same hotel
- same room type
- same duration and dates of stay
- same terms and conditions of sale, terms and conditions of cancellation, prepayment terms and conditions, terms and conditions regarding changes in the booking, etc.
- same number of guests
- same currency
- same rate condition
In the event of cancellation and/or modification policies not matching, the more restrictive policy will be applied.

13. For reservations made with total or partial prepayment, the full amount paid will be refunded and the total payment of the new amount will be requested. If currency exchange and bank charges are affected by your bank, charges and/or refunds made in a different currency to that of the debit/credit card used may cause differences between the amount charged and the amount refunded. Barceló Hotel Group shall not be responsible for any differences that may occur.
Exclusions to the Best Price Guaranteed double guarantee
We firmly stand by our commitment to offering the best online rate guaranteed. Likewise, we are committed to establishing specific basic rules and limitations to be able to guarantee the best online rate. In the following 12 cases, the best rate guaranteed will not be applied, and therefore the rate match request will not be accepted:
1. Reservations made via a channel that does not belong to Barcelo.com, or any other non-designated channel, with the exception of our Customer Service.
2. Rates available on non-transparent websites. In other words, sites where the hotel brand, full name, exact location, category, or any other specific details are not known until the reservation is made.
3. Rates pertaining to so-called promotional packages, i.e., those hotel packages or travel packages that may include hotel, airfare, car rental, food and beverage or other similar packages or services.
4. Rates that are not guaranteed publicly: negotiated rates, group rates, company rates, etc.
5. Reservations made through private sales clubs or that require registration, including loyalty programs for hotels belonging to the Barceló Hotel Group.
6. Rates that contain errors on their website at the time of checking the quote or booking the reservation.
7. Rates with prepaid vouchers.
8. Reservations booked within 24 hours before arrival at the hotel.
9. Discrepancies in the rates due to fluctuations, rounding up, or differences in currency exchange fees.
10. Barcelo.com rates that already have exclusive benefits for groups (meetings, events, conventions, or conferences), including special services and discounts.
11. The best price guarantee does not apply to hotels in Cuba.
12. Prices with coupons or discount codes applied.
If it is detected that the web page referred to is, according to Barceló Hotel Group's criteria, fraudulent, the best price guarantee will not be applied.

2. How will I know if you received my form? You will receive confirmation by email or telephone within 48 business hours.
3. How will I know if my request has been approved? You will be notified by email or telephone.
4. How will I know if the room type is the same? If, for any reason, the characteristics of the room with the better rate found on another website are different than those of the original reservation, we will notify you via email or telephone.
5. If I find a lower rate on the Barcelo.com website, will my request be applied? Yes, as a result of the extension of the Best Price Guarantee. You will get a price match when the request is submitted up to 72 hours prior to check-in and meets the conditions of the Best Price Guarantee.
