1. General booking terms and conditions
Booking terms and conditions
Your reservation will be secured through your CREDIT CARD. In the case of special offers, promotions, or special rates, a fee may be charged at the time of booking securely through our virtual POS, which will be deducted from your final bill at the hotel. Your credit card will be stored securely and confidentially as an additional guarantee. Barcelo.com promises to maintain the information provided by the customer under the strictest secrecy. If you have to pay for all or part of the amount of the reservation at the hotel, you may be asked to pay this amount on the day of your arrival (check-in date).
If you would like to make any CHANGES OR CANCEL your booking, you must do so prior to the expected arrival date in the original booking specified in the specific conditions of the rate or offer selected. Otherwise, the corresponding charges specified will apply.
Once your reservation is booked, please print the page titled BOOKING VOUCHER, which will serve as proof of the services purchased and your reservation. Save this voucher until your arrival at the hotel and show it to the front desk upon check-in. In the event that you do not show the voucher at the front desk, the hotel shall not be responsible for any errors related to the booking, whether in the agreed price, number of people, and/or purchased services. Keep the LOCATOR NUMBER of your reservation. This will be necessary to access your reservation data on Barcelo.com in case you wish to make any changes, modifications, or cancellations.
Remember that all people (including children) who will stay at the hotel must have PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTATION, as well as official and valid identification documents to verify:
- that the booking conditions, like the children's ages or the identity of the room occupants, specified in the booking are met
- that the conditions of the discounts applied in the reservation are met
- that the conditions of the special discounts applied to the booking (senior, large family, millennials, resident, etc.) meet the conditions
- that you are the owner of the credit/debit card with which the prepayment was made
IMPORTANT FOR PREPAID RESERVATIONS: At check-in, guests must present the same credit card with which they made the reservation prepayment and provide proof of card ownership. Please keep in mind that your card’s expiration date must not be earlier than your arrival date at the hotel.
If these requirements are not met, the hotel will charge the guest 100% of the cost of the stay when checking in and will proceed to refund the prepayment made when making the reservation.
RESERVATIONS MADE WITH PAYPAL: Upon arrival at the hotel, the PayPal receipt shall be required as proof of the reservation payment. Payment receipts from PayPal are always sent to the account holder's email address once a purchase is confirmed. The name of the person making the reservation must match the name of the PayPal account holder. Otherwise, you will be required to pay the total amount at the reception desk through another means of payment, and the prepayment made through PayPal will be refunded.
PAYMENT FOR THE RESERVATION shall be made in the currency used by the hotel. The prices in other currencies shown during the reservation process and in the confirmation are for informational purposes only. They are subject to variations in the exchange rate of the day. The amount to be paid will be the amount shown on the confirmation voucher received by email.
The Barceló Hotel Group is not responsible for and does not guarantee that access to this reservation portal will be uninterrupted or error-free. In no event shall Barceló Hotel Group be liable for any loss, damage, or harm of any kind arising from access to and use of the reservation portal. Plans
Half board (breakfast and dinner) and full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), as a general rule, do not include beverages. For all-inclusive plans, check in each case on the hotel's web pages for all the services included.
Rates
The “from” prices are calculated based on an occupancy of 2 people per room. If the reservation is booked for a greater or lesser number of people per room, this price may vary. Rates are valid for individual reservations only and do not apply to groups and special events.
All rates shown include taxes (except for city hotels in Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala, El Salvador, Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Nicaragua), where rates are expressed exclusive of taxes, in effect at the time of booking. However, should the increase of any indirect applicable tax occur after the confirmation of the booking (as may include, but is not limited to VAT or IGIC), or new rates, taxes, or contributions of any kind be established for such services, the indicated rates will be increased by the legally corresponding amount.
The hotel reserves the right to admit occasional visitors and, in no case, will allow them access to the rooms; if the customer wishes to receive visitors, the hotel has adequate spaces for this purpose.
If it is an all-inclusive establishment, a paid Day Pass service is available, which the visitor may purchase at the reception desk.
In urban hotels, any consumption by the visitor must be covered.
Special reservations for groups
When reserving more than 10 rooms, the hotel may apply special conditions and supplements.
