Description
Spend the morning exploring Teide National Park in a jeep with 4-wheel-drive. Drive up to the volcanic heights and learn many interesting things about the tallest mountain in Spain and the country’s 3rd-oldest national park from your friendly and informative guide.
Get picked up from your hotel in South Tenerife and head north in a comfortable jeep. As you climb higher, observe changes in topography, plants, and wildlife, passing through pine forests before crossing the timber line into an alien-like terrain of unusual rock formations. It's so alien it was used in the filming of the 2010 Clash of the Titans.
With 4-wheel-drive, you’re able to explore more, more easily, and still be back at your hotel by lunch. During the ascent to the summit, pass through the small villages of southern Tenerife, some hidden high in the mountains. Your guide presents a whole manner of fascinating information before you return to your hotel.
