There are plenty of options when choosing a boat trip from Ibiza, such as visiting its hidden coves (which can’t be reached by car or foot) or Formentera, one of its neighbouring islands.

Hiring a boat for your trip around Ibiza
Plenty of companies hire out boats so you can set off on an excursion from Ibiza. They’re normally found at the island’s biggest ports: Ibiza Magna (in the island’s capital), Marina Botafoch, Sant Antoni de Portmany (San Antonio) and Santa Eulària des Riu (Santa Eulalia).
Wherever you depart from, one of the most beautiful trips to enjoy is sailing around the island. It has a perimeter of 113 nautical miles (around 210 km) so its good idea to allow two or three days to complete the journey, either sleeping on the boat or stopping off on land.
But if you’re only after a day trip (or just a few hours at sea), here are some of the best places to head for on an excursion by boat from Ibiza:

Boat trips from Ibiza to Formentera
Boat companies Balearia, Mediterránea Pitiusa and Trasmapi connect Ibiza port with La Savina port and trips run several times a day. It’s definitely the cheapest option if you want to travel from Ibiza to its sister Formentera and the journey takes just over half an hour.
