Once the crowds are gone and the daylight fades, our guides will lead you from the historic Old Town of Prague across the river Vltava and into the world’s largest castle complex. You’ll explore the monasteries, churches, palaces, and monuments of Prague Castle, walking in the footsteps of kings, emperors, invaders, and alchemists. You’ll visit the monastery where ‘Holy Beer’ is brewed, see the palace whose grounds are home to the ‘Hole to Hell’, learn about Prague’s Alchemist Emperor and the scientists and magicians he brought to the city.

You’ll have the chance to see the castle and its surroundings in a quiet, magical atmosphere, without the crowds, and you’ll visit the Golden Lane, once home to the famous author Franz Kafka. Your tour ticket includes a tram ride from the Mala Strana to the Castle area.

During this 3-hour night walking tour you will have the chance to see Prague Castle and its surroundings in quiet without the crowds. Hear how scientists and magicians were attracted to Bohemia during the unique reign of Rudolf II, and how alchemy, magic and astronomy have played an important part in history. Enjoy the castle grounds and famous ‘Golden Lane’ as you avoid the daytime crowds and distractions, and as night falls enjoy the spectacular views the city has to offer from the largest castle complex in the world. This tour is a mixture of legends and historical facts, taking you to one of Prague’s most enchanting areas.
