Surf Lesson near Rome with typical lunch

Description

 With this quick class, you will learn the basics. Starting from the specifications on the equipment needed, going to the main elements that compose a surfboard. Thanks to the kind manners of our teachers, in few minutes you will start to enjoy taking the waves, standing up on them, handling and rowing on a surfboard.

After learning how to handle the board and how to take a wave we'll focus on safety. Safety is an important factor and you need to be aware of everything. You will be taught the basics and you will have to show that you remember them and that you can put everything into practice on your own. Obviously you will ride your first waves! If you have already done some lessons, you can improve the techniques instead. In fact, you will improve the ability to arrive in line-up autonomously, be fluid in the transition from lying to standing and improving the style in takeoffs. All lessons are held by qualified ISA and CONI instructors and consist of a theoretical-practical part on land and another in the sea.

Ostia Lido beach is close to Rome city center

Ostia is part of the Municipality of Rome. Located a few kilometers away from the city center of the Italian capital city, Ostia Lido beach offers all you deserve to relax at the seaside and have a break during your Italian holidays.

A taste of Roman Cuisine close to the beach

After the surf class, you'll be enjoying a typical dish of Roman cuisine at the end of the lesson. You will enjoy a dish of typical pasta, Carbonara or Amatriciana, or as an alternative a delicious Pizza.

What should you know before you go?

• The lesson could be canceled or postponed in heavy weather.
• In the event that on the indicated day the waves are not favorable, a SUP SURFING lesson can be held which is very similar but is performed with a flat sea.
• The lesson depends on the weather and sea conditions. 5/7 days before we are in a position to indicate suitable times and days.
• The school is located close to CRISTOFORO COLOMBO metro station, reachable from PIRAMIDE metro station at the cost of €1.50 each way.
• Activity suitable from six years up

What to bring?

• Bring a safe mask with you. All participants +12 years old must present one of the following documents: a complete vaccination certificate; certificate attesting to the administration of the first dose of the vaccine, which took place at least 15 days prior to the activity; a confirmation of the healing from Covid-19 within the last 6 months; the negative result of a swab performed no more than 48 hours before the activity. We remind you that in the absence of these documents it will not be possible to participate in the activity and no refund will be made.
