The old town presents a labyrinth of picturesque narrow and steep streets whose old fishermen's and farmers' houses have almost all been rehabilitated as restaurants, shops, art galleries and all kinds of bars. A very cosmopolitan environment and widely visited by tourists from around the world.
The old fortified enclosure, within the old town, with panoramic views of the entire bay and with Benidorm in the background, has in its main square, original streets that invite you to walk and visit its attractive church with a great neoclassical Mediterranean character in the very center of this square.
When you go down the current town hall you enter its famous Paseo Marítimo, also with a very international atmosphere full of restaurants and pubs that satisfy any taste.
La Campaneta, the meeting place, is the type of palace that with its blue domes served as a copy for the current blue domes of the church.
