Departure from the port
We will depart from the port of Alicante through some interior municipalities. -
Sanctuary-Castle
Time to visit the impressive Sanctuary of Santa Magdalena. This religious building was built within the framework of a project by the engineer José Sala Sala Sala, from Novelda, who impregnated his project of the Catalan modernist style (GAUDÍ). The works began in 1918 and were developed in three phases, finally reaching its end in 1946. The only marble organ around the world is being built inside. With any luck we can hear its original sound. Next to the Sanctuary there is a curious castle called “De la Mola”. Fortress of Islamic origin, renovated at the end of the 13th century after the Reconquest. It has a square tower inside, of Islamic origin, in which the upper part is missing today. Made in adobe on a masonry base. And a curious triangular Christian Tower that hardly exist anywhere in Europe. From the top of this complex we will have magnificent views of the entire valley and below a river that was the border between the Christian kingdoms of Castile and Aragon. -

Guided winery tour and wine tasting
Before starting the guided tour, a presentation will be made to show you the winemaking process: place of reception of the grape, control laboratory, storage area, wine barrels ... and so on. You can taste two or three different types of wine accompanied by something to snack on. -
