During the two-hours walk we will make the connection from medieval Catalan history and legends to what inspired Gaudí and other architects when designing the residential buildings along the grand boulevard of Passeig de Gracia. From street pavement to lamp posts – all have a story that we want to tell you!

Stop at: Casa Milá
Learn all about the history and the façade of this marvellous building designed by Gaudí. It was his last civic building before he dedicated the remainder of his life to the construction of the church of Sagrada Familia.
Stop at: Passeig de Gràcia
We will walk down the grand boulevard of Passeig de Gracia. From street pavement to lamp posts – all have a story that we want to tell you!
Stop at: Casa Batlló
Certainly one of Gaudi´s masterpieces in Barcelona. We will explain the exterior façade and the ingenious creativity of Gaudi when designing this building.
Stop at: Casa Amatller
Casa Amatller is one of the most fascinating Modernist buildings for us in Barcelona. Many guests do not pay much attention to it, but we are sure that we can make you as enthusiastic as we are when you have learned about its history and architecture.
Stop at: Casa Morera
Casa Morera is a stunning example of Modernist craftsmanship designed by Lluís Domènech I Montaner. Hidden behind the countless floral decoration we will point out a most surprising detail!
Stop at: Block of Discord
Three distinct Modernist buildings form the so called Block of Discord. We will explain you why.
Stop at: Plaza Cataluña
We will pass Plaça Catalunya - connecting the new town, Eixample, with the old town.
Stop at: Els 4 Gats
We will see the modernist art café which was as important to Barcelona like the art cafés in Paris. Picasso came here as did Gaudí.
Stop at: Barcelona Concert Hall - Palau de la Musica
The famous concert hall is a gem of modernist architecture. We will explain the magnificent outer façade with its many details and will also have a glimpse into the beautiful lobby.
Stop at: El Born
We will explore the neighbourhood and discover references to the legends we have learned during the tour.
