Description

A landscape hardened by the wind, the ocean and volcanoes. But also authentic flavours and ancient traditions. Get ready for Fuerteventura to take your breath away on this excursion to the south of the Windy Island.

This private 8-passenger minivan excursion will take us to the suggestive south of the island to discover beaches with intense colours and inland landscapes, with an excellent tasting of typical products at one of the local farms. Crossing typical and characteristic villages, we will pass through the historic capital of Betancuria and the natural caves of Ajuy, a small town of shepherds where we can spend some leisure time on the black sand beach or taste local dishes.

We will continue the journey in a southeastern direction to the Costa Calma area, where the 18 km of white sand of the famous Sotavento beach is located, to relax and enjoy the sun.

  • Mirador de los Dos Reyes

In the middle of the FV-30 road that goes down to Betancuria, passing the entrance that goes up to Morro Velosa, we find the Mirador de Guise y Ayose. This viewpoint is located in the slit called Corrales de Guise, between the Santa Inés Valley and Betancuria, with two viewpoints one on each side of the road, at the top we see the north, towards El Cotillo and to the south we can see Betancuria.

The impressive 4.5-meter-high sculptures are the work of the artist Emiliano Hernández.

  • Ajuy Caves and Black Sand Beach

Fuerteventura is the ideal destination for family trips. Here you'll find everything you need to disconnect during your vacation. You can enjoy both establishments dedicated to nightlife, as well as beaches and landscapes located in an incomparable setting, which will make you feel like a true explorer.

Fuerteventura has a good number of corners where, in addition to enjoying yourself, you can learn a little more about our history, about our culture. If you want to discover one of the most spectacular natural enclaves on the island, then keep reading. We took a look at the Ajuy Caves, an entertaining and even educational visit.

  • Sotavento Beach

Extending like a small piece of paradise on earth, Sotavento Beach is surrounded by immense dunes bathed by calm, crystalline and unalterable waters in which it is necessary to go several meters to find a deep space.

As it is one of the largest beaches in Costa Calma, Sotavento beach is the ideal space for those looking for a quiet environment without crowds in which to enjoy nature.

It is everyone's responsibility to protect our environment. For sustainable tourism
