Learn the history and secrets of the banana crop, a guided tour with a tasting of products made from this magical fruit
Let yourself be surprised and come to Hacienda La ReKompensa, a farm with an area of 56,500 m2 with more than 7,500 banana trees, 150 avocado trees, and a great diversity of other fruits
During our 45-minute guided tour through the banana farm, we will teach you all about the crop of the Canary Islands' main agricultural export. We will visit the Canary house, which dates back to 1804 and has been completely restored, faithful to its original architecture. Inside we will find the Banana Museum, an interpretation centre of this exciting product and a store where you will taste, included in the price, a selection of handmade products made in our islands where our magical fruit is the main actor
In the shop we also have other products you can buy, such as different jams, banana candy and even Banana Wine or cosmetic lines also made with bananas.
Discover this unique place in the Canary Islands with amazing views of the Ocean and the Plataneras Sea in the north of the island. It is the first Banana Museum in Gran Canaria and the only one in all the Canary Islands where you can see 25 different varieties of banana trees from all over the world.
