Beauty, history, and unique landscapes. A personalized excursion to enjoy with our expert local guides
Our expert guides craft unique and personalized experiences, ensuring each tour offers a distinct and enjoyable way to discover the true essence of our island.
On this full-day tour, you'll explore the contrasting landscapes of Gran Canaria's highlands ('Cumbres') and midlands ('Medianías'), fertile regions of exceptional beauty. We'll visit the sacred mountains and the charming villages of Tejeda and Artenara, stopping at various viewpoints to admire the unique scenery famously described as a "petrified storm" by the great Miguel de Unamuno during his visit and exile in the Canary Islands.
Our journey begins with a stop in the Marian town of Teror. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through this picturesque village, capturing photos and visiting the Basilica of the Virgin of the Pine, with its streets adorned with traditional Canarian wooden balconies.
We then continue to Artenara, one of the highest villages in the Canary Islands, known for its fascinating cave houses and the Risco Caído museum. This offers a remarkable opportunity to gain deeper insights into the ancient inhabitants of the islands.
Our next destination is the village of Tejeda, celebrated as one of the most beautiful in Spain by thousands of voters nationwide. This captivating mountain retreat, nestled at the foot of Roque Nublo and Roque Bentayga, is also renowned for its almond production. Its streets offer local product shops and traditional Canarian restaurants where you'll have free time for lunch at your leisure. We return to Las Palmas around 5:00 PM
