Full-day excursion to the landscapes of the north of the island of Gran Canaria.
The north of Gran Canaria stands out for its rugged and rugged landscapes, as well as for its coastline full of impressive cliffs that stop the fury of the Atlantic.
This full-day tour will show you some of the most emblematic corners of the island.
Later we will arrive at Arucas, whose town offers an experience of sensations that begins as soon as you arrive at its historic centre. The old town of Arucas has a name of historical-artistic interest. San Juan Bautista Parish Church It is the architectural piece with the greatest presence and social value in the municipality. Heritage, culture and tradition will be a constant during your visit to this town.
We will visit the town of Teror, a place of pilgrimage for the inhabitants of Gran Canaria, with its Basilica of the Virgin of the Pine (patron saint of the diocese of the Canary Islands). The Plaza de Teror is the nerve centre of the town, from where you can see the balconies typical of Canarian architecture that adorn much of the municipality. It is a large square that, in addition to being the entrance to the Basilica, is a place of passage to the historic centre of the municipality.
We will follow our route to Firgas, whose old town is worth a walk to appreciate the many corners of tourist interest that the municipality has. We visited the Paseo de Gran Canaria and the Paseo de Canarias, which are located in the heart of the urban area and on what was formerly the street Real del Centro. The beauty of Firgas lies in visiting "the Balcony of the Atlantic“because it has the most beautiful views over the ocean, from all over the north, east and west of Gran Canaria.
Finally, we will visit the Port of Las Nieves, the coastal area of the municipality of Agaete. It has now become the main maritime connection between Gran Canaria and Tenerife. It is a picturesque and charming fishing village on the north coast of Gran Canaria. It has a typical Canarian atmosphere and character with surprising cliffs.
Impressive small beaches, which, although stony, have cold and crystal clear waters. In history, there is already the image of Roque Partido or popularly known as “the Finger of God”.
