Discover with our local guide the beauty of La Alpujarra, a region of Granada full of history, culture and nature
At the foot of Sierra Nevada lies La Alpujarra, a collection of white villages framed by a landscape of colossal and unique valleys and ravines. We will pass through Lanjarón, Órgiva, the Barranco de Poqueira (Pamapaneira, Bubión, and Capileira), Pitres, Pórtugos, Busquistar, and Trevélez.
We will make several stops in some of these places. The first stop will be at the Puente de Tablate, which marks the entrance to the Alpujarras of Granada. Our second stop will be in Pampaneira, where we will visit the chocolate factory, the loom, and take a walk through the village, where we can admire the fabulous Barranco de Poqueira. Our next destination will be Pórtugos, with a stop at Fuente Agria and Fuente del Chorreón. Next, we will visit Trevélez, the highest village in the region, where we will enjoy a tasting of the local products. Finally, we will visit Capileira village to enjoy the typical Alpujarran dish along with several seasonal starters and soups, (optional lunch, see prices) with free time enough to walk around and admire its beauty.
