Our unforgettable adventure begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Isla Cristina or Isla Canela. We'll then cross the Guadiana International Bridge, arriving at Vila Real de Santo António in Portugal, where your adventure awaits.
First, board the Arimar, a magnificent, meticulously restored classic trawler from the 1960s. This vessel, with a capacity for 44 passengers and a length of 16 meters, embodies the artistry of naval craftsmanship from its era. We'll set sail past the city before navigating towards the mouth of the river and then reverse course. During this captivating journey, you'll witness the charming medieval village of Castro Marim, the bustling town of Ayamonte, the Guadiana International Bridge, the burgeoning tourist developments of Costa Isuri, and the picturesque Castro Marim Golf course.
Next, trade your sea legs for wheels! We'll hop into our jeeps and embark on an off-road adventure along dirt tracks, where you can observe the diverse local flora and fauna. Our journey continues with a delicious lunch break at a restaurant overlooking the Odeleite dam. Afterward, we'll traverse the beautiful Algarve interior, passing through Barragem do Beliche with its breathtaking views and charming villages. Castro Marim, a town steeped in history, will be our next stop.
To cap off this unforgettable experience, we'll venture into the Sapal de Castro Marim Nature Reserve and Vila Real de Santo António.
