Enjoying the beauty of Isla Canela's surroundings on an electric bike, whatever your fitness level, is one of the advantages of renting an e-Bike for half a day. This interesting activity is designed for everyone, you just need to be over 12 years old and have fun. In the 3.5 hours of the activity there is enough time to get to know the salt marshes of the Salinas del Duque, the historic tide mills, the picturesque village of Ayamonte and, of course, the nearby fishermen's neighbourhood of Canela and Punta del Moral.
During the tour on this bike, which has Big Foot wheels, you can enjoy the view of the promenade of Isla Canela. It is surprising to observe the local fauna, to see chameleons, flamingos and egrets, among many other animals, up close. It is not a question of disturbing them or interfering with the calm of the place, but rather of discreetly admiring the surroundings without any fuss. The bike ride is not strenuous and thanks to the pedalling assistant it is within the reach of almost all visitors. In case the weather conditions do not permit a bike ride, the organising company will arrange an alternative proposal so that no one misses out on the beautiful surroundings.
Although it goes without saying, helmets and comfortable clothing should be worn during the activity. Bicycles must be looked after and not exposed to contact with sea water or the sand on the beach, elements that could damage their operation. And, of course, caution is necessary because it is still a sport that takes place in inhabited areas.
