Description
Enjoy the best traditional market in the Canary Islands and discover the natural paradise and marine reserve of the island of La Graciosa.
Once in Teguise, after finishing the pickups, you will have 2 hours to enjoy the craft market. All Sunday mornings, Teguise is transformed and the silence and tranquillity of its streets give way to the hustle and bustle of a multitude of stalls and artisans. In its streets and squares, the most important popular market in the Canary Islands takes place, where you can buy handicrafts of all kinds, ceramics, basketry, leather goods,... and natural and typical products, such as cheeses, wines and those made from cactus and aloe. Many artists also sell their most varied works here and it's an event that no visitor should miss.
After visiting the market, you will head to the north of the island, Órzola, where you will board a ferry from where you can enjoy the stunning panoramic views of the north coast of Lanzarote for 25 minutes. Once in La Graciosa, our guide will show you some secrets of Caleta del Sebo such as the old church and the streets of the fishing town. At 14:00 you will be greeted with a glass of champagne while lunch is served: salad, paella, fruit, soft drinks, wine, beer and water, all included! After lunch, you can enjoy 1.5 hours of free time on the island to explore it on your own and enjoy its golden beaches, its pleasant houses on the sandy ochre canvas and the turquoise sea that caresses it. This island is for special, sensitive travellers who know how to enjoy nature, silence, beauty and, of course, sunbathing on its lonely beaches. La Graciosa is probably one of the few places in Europe where there are still no paved roads. It is the most unknown corner and the one with the most serenity in the Canary Islands.
At 16:30, you will take the ferry back to Órzola, where the bus will be waiting for you to be transferred to your hotel.
