A unique experience from Barceló Hotel Group in which you can enjoy four days of adventure, sport and disconnection.
You will stay in a unique hotel such as the Barceló Lanzarote Active Resort, enjoy a rich and healthy breakfast and learn how to be a real surfer through two unique experiences with the best professionals on the island.
Day 1 Welcome to Lanzarote
- Arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time.
Day 2 Freediving training for surfers
- 9:30 to 15:30 hrs. Class in the art of freediving for surfers in the olympic pool of the hotel: We will start with theory of physiology and breathing mechanics. We will do a practical session on breathing technique and training methods in the pool. We will continue with a static session and analyse the results. And finally, we will do a last session carrying out specific exercises.
Our idea is to offer you an unforgettable experience, with professionalism and safety. The freediving world is a vast world, there are different types of freediving, in our case we will develop techniques to facilitate your relationship with the sea when surfing.
This training is tailor-made for surfers. It is a one day course that will give you more confidence, understanding, awareness of the body and mind in the underwater world. You will do exercises with specific training methods that will give you more confidence in surfing.
- Rest of the day free time to explore the island or enjoy the resort.
Day 3 Surfing the beach of Famara
- 9:00 to 10:00 hrs. Pick up at the hotel and transfer to Famara.
- 10:00 to 14:00 hrs. Private surfing lesson: Four hours of private surfing lessons on the beautiful Famara beach in Lanzarote. In this private surf lesson, if you have never experienced surfing before, you will experience your first contact with the waves in a personalised way, you will learn from the best instructors how to move through the waves and you will be able to live this experience in a unique way. If you have already done this activity before, you will be able to perfect your technique with the best instructors. You will have an instructor who will teach you the best techniques to put into practice from the very first moment.
- 14:00 to 15:00 hrs. Return to the hotel.
- Rest of the day free time to explore the island or enjoy the resort.
Day 4 See you soon Lanzarote
- Check out of the hotel.

What should you know before you go?
- Once you book, the hotel will contact you to confirm all the details and schedules of the different activities.
- Experience subject to availability.
- Prices include 7% IGIC.
- You must select Wednesday or Sunday as the day of arrival at the hotel in the calendar. If you choose Wednesday, the departure day will be Saturday. On the other hand, if you choose Sunday as the day of entry, Wednesday will be the day of departure.

- 1 private 4-hour surf lesson for 2 people: Neoprene, surfboard, fruit, water, photographs, accident insurance and transfers.
- 1 6-hour freediving class for surfers for 2 people on the hotel premises: freediving equipment and accident insurance.
