Sancti Spiritus University is one of the most important attractions of Oñati, but it is not the only one, the church of San Miguel, the Bidaurreta monastery, Fueros and Santa Marina squares or the palaces of Antia, Madinabeitia and Baruekua will also catch your eye.
Next we will visit the Aranzazu sanctuary. According to legend, the Virgin appeared to a shepherd named Rodrigo de Balzategi on a thorn tree and he, astonished, asked her: "Arantzan zu?" (You on a thorn tree?). During the following centuries the Franciscan friars made Arantzazu a place of devotion and pilgrimage, and an exponent of art and culture.Throughout the tour there will be half an hour for a brief lunch (the tour price does not include lunch)
