Discover the most special and authentic neighborhood of Seville with its narrow alleys full of charm, colors and flavors
Santa Cruz is a colorful network of alleys, courtyards full of flowers, stately homes and the scent of orange blossoms. This old district has many legends and historical facts and has inspired poets, writers and musicians.
Historically, Santa Cruz was a Jewish quarter closed by a wall with three doors: a door with access to Mesón del Moro Street, a door close to the church of San Nicolás and another one in the Puerta de la Carne. At the end of the 19th century Santa Cruz was languishing and only regained its splendor with the reforms following the Ibero-American Exposition of 1929.
Immerse yourself in this beautiful place, learn its history and, hand in hand with our expert local guide, take a quiet walk through its streets and squares, enjoy the scent and color of every corner of this very special neighborhood.
