Description
Explore the magnificent island of Tenerife, the largest and most populous island of the 7 Canary Islands, during an exciting Jeep adventure. Get off the beaten track and explore the island's most breathtaking scenes, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Teide National Park.
After you're picked up from the southern side of the island, settle into a comfortable Jeep and prepare for a rugged journey over rocky, mountainous terrain. Make your way to Teide National Park, the oldest and most visited of Spain's national parks, and drive among towering, snow-capped peaks covered in dense forest foliage.
Make your way up Mount Teide, which at 12,198 feet (3,718 m) is the island's highest peak. Take a few minutes to soak up the bird's-eye views from this vantage point and listen to a few facts about the island's endemic flora and many types of invertebrate fauna.
Continue your journey along a route that takes you to Masca, a tiny village of about 90 inhabitants nestled at an altitude of 2,132 feet (650 m) in the Macizo de Teno Mountains. Listen to stories about the villagers' existence in this peaceful pocket of nature and take in views of the nearby island of La Gomera before beginning the return journey to your hotel.
What should you know before you go?
- You must be able to walk on unpaved or uneven terrain.

- Please be ready and waiting in your hotel lobby 15 minutes prior to your scheduled pick-up time.
