The most important wineries in Valencia. Less than an hour's drive from Valencia lies an oenological treasure: the region of Utiel. Known as the Tuscany of Valencia for its landscapes of vineyards and valleys, this region will captivate you with a winemaking tradition that dates back to the 7th century BC, one of the oldest in the world. A wine lover's paradise where you can enjoy the diversity of flavours offered by the Utiel-Requena Designation of Origin. On our excursion to the wineries of Utiel and Requena we will take you to explore the villages where this exceptional Valencian wine is produced. You will visit the vineyards and discover the wine making process, tasting the grapes from the vines in August and September, and participating in the treading of the grapes during the month of October. The vineyards of Utiel-Requena are a gift for the senses, a visual symphony of natural beauty and serenity. A vast landscape of green and golden hues that change with the seasons, from lush spring to the golden autumn of the grape harvest. Rolling hills and mountains embrace the vineyards, offering majestic panoramas with picturesque villages scattered throughout. A place to unwind and immerse yourself in the harmony of land and wine. On our excursion we will visit two places: First visit: the historic Murviedro Winery, in Requena, with wine tasting. Second visit: Vera de Estenas Winery, in Utiel, with wine tasting. Historic Murviedro Winery Our first stop will be at the emblematic Murviedro Historic Winery, located in the heart of the picturesque old town of Requena. Here, we will discover its enigmatic underground caves, a 12th century legacy originally used to store wine and foodstuffs in optimal conditions thanks to their constant temperature. In this fascinating environment, you will enjoy a guided tour that includes a tasting of an exquisite wine inside the caves. The experience continues in the main tasting room, where you can taste another two wines accompanied by a delicious aperitif.

Vera de Estenas Winery in Utiel Unique for its environment, you will find yourself among vineyards of immense beauty that surround an authentic and very well preserved village of yesteryear. This modernist winery dating back to 1876 has been passed down from generation to generation, preserving the tradition, know-how and love of wine to make the best wines in the area. You will feel at home surrounded by nature and tranquillity, while you enjoy a guided tour of the imposing farmhouse and finish with a tasting of 3 Valencian wines in the gardens.
