Itinerary

After meeting at the meeting point at the Serranos Towers, we will start our tour through the streets of the centre of Valencia, a wonderful city on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea that hides centuries and centuries of history, discovering the ancient walls that Valencia has had. We will continue walking to the interior of the church of San Nicolás. When you enter, you will not be able to stop looking up, as it has 2,000 square metres of beautiful baroque frescoes, painted by Dionís Vidal. There is a reason why they call this temple the "Valencian Sistine Chapel"! We will continue on to the Lonja de la Seda (Silk Exchange), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This spectacular building stands out for its Gothic style and houses an exceptional interior. Its columned structure and geometric ceiling will make you fall in love with it. We continue our tour towards the Central Market, making the most of the experience that the place has to offer. We move on to the Plaza de la Reina, entering the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. Did you know that they say that the Holy Grail is hidden there? Is it true? We'll find out! We continue to the Roman ruins of the Almoina, very close to the cathedral, which contains the most important archaeological remains of Valencia. Finally, we stop at the Plaza de la Virgen, unveiling the secrets of the Basilica of the Virgen María de los Desamparados, and getting to know more about the Tribunal de las Aguas, the oldest in the world! We will finish in the heart of the old city, in the same square.
