Everything you need to know
In the charming village of Vall d'Uixó you will find a natural wonder: the longest navigable underground river in Europe, which is 3,000 metres long. It is here that you will find the Coves de Sant Josep, natural caves of unique charm with a great story to tell.
These caves, which represent the most extensive caves in Castellón, are in perfect condition. Thanks to the spotlights inside, you can admire their rock formations and their different colours. You will see stalactite-covered ceilings, wide galleries, and spaces known as 'the cathedral' or the 'bat room'. You can also marvel at the cave paintings that have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
