On this excursion you will get to know the beauty, history and legacy of two beautiful towns in the Valencian Community: one in the mountains and the other by the sea.
The tour will begin in Morella, the walled city that stands out for its magnificent preservation and manages to transport travelers to medieval times. A real historical jewel about which you can learn all the details thanks to our local guide. You will explore its characteristic cobbled streets, get to know the historic castle that crowns the town and enter this 12th century Islamic fortress. You will also have some free time to wander around the town, explore at your leisure and admire the local craft stalls.
We will then depart for Peñíscola, a city of unparalleled beauty so often chosen for the filming of a multitude of movies and series, including Game of Thrones. You will discover the castle, located on top of a rock by the sea. This fortress served as a palace and personal library for the famous Pope Luna, one of the most controversial religious figures in the history of Spain. You will explore the old town of Peñíscola, a historical relic full of samples of Muslim, Roman and Templar architecture, where you can see sites of interest such as the house of the shells and the bufador, as well as the wall that served as protection for the city.
