Prague Zoo is the 2nd most visited destination in the Czech Republic after the Prague Castle and for a good reason! Set in a unique rugged landscape on the bank of the Vltava River, Prague zoo offers 12 pavilions, where you can become familiar with the variety of species of the animal kingdom. During its existence of more than 80 years it has risen to become one of the most prestigious zoos in the world.

Meet your guide in the very heart of the city – by the Charles Bridge - and take a short pleasant tram ride to the pier. Admire elegant houses and embankments as your guide gets the boat tickets and get ready for the cruise! Marvel at Prague’s changing panorama, learn about the most significant monuments, such as the Charles Bridge, Prague Castle or National Theatre. See the beauty of Prague islands and bridges and enjoy an exciting passage through one or two locks. After your guide gets you free refreshments you can listen to some more interesting stories from Czech history or get to know more facts about the Prague zoo.

Once you disembark, you enjoy a pleasant 10 min walk along the river with a beautiful view of Troja Castle. At the main entrance of the zoo your guide provides you with admission ticket, a map of zoo and a bus ticket for your return transfer.

It is now when your true adventure begins! Take your time and explore all 12 pavilions and 150 exhibits over 58 hectares. Visit the popular Indonesian Jungle, African House, Gorilla Pavilion, Feline Pavilion, Elephant Valley, Hippo Pavilion and others among them. Your kids will love a chairlift, mini-train, Children’s zoo or the new playground and resting area ´Bororo Reserve´. It is dominated by an Indian tree village 12.5 metres above the ground, so do not forget your camera!
