She made her way to Lanzarote this past March for a few days of sun and relaxation. Although this was her first time on the island, it is now her favourite of all the Canary Islands.

Erea is the creator of the blog “All That She Wants” and has more than 65,000 Instagram followers. She loves warm weather, palm trees and the sea: “I adore the beach and the water, so an alternative without having to wait for summer is fantastic.”

To enjoy live performances, chill-out areas and the best food, Erea stayed at the Barceló Teguise Beach hotel: “My favourite part of the hotel is the gorgeous pool surrounded by palm trees. I also enjoyed the hot tub on the terrace when night fell. Everything was amazing.”

There are places that win us over at every destination, and Erea now has three top spots on the island: “After my trip to Lanzarote, these are the places I think everyone should see: Famara beach, the town of Teguise and the cactus garden.”

There’s nothing like travelling to have the chance to eat local dishes. When in the Canary Islands, everyone should try the traditional papas arrugás potatoes, which Erea adored: “The hotel has two restaurants. One serves Mediterranean food and healthy alternatives, and the other is the sports bar, which has delicious hamburgers. The island’s local cuisine was available at the hotel!

Pin and Travel suggests leaving lots of room in your suitcase for all the things you will most likely bring back: “Lanzarote tastes like salt and I love it. I packed a bunch of bikinis and brought back aloe vera, Tirma chocolates (my favourites from the Canary Islands) and a bunch of cool photos. I would love to visit the island again.”
